We curate events that encourage you to step out of your comfort zone, embrace new experiences and discover new passions. The What Next dream is to build a community of explorers who appreciate the huge variety of activities Bournemouth has to offer.

Our three main ambitions for What Next are to offer new and exciting experiences, help people make new friends as part of a What Next community, and support local businesses that offer some incredible activities in and around Bournemouth.
MYSTERY ACTIVITIES IN BOURNEMOUTH?WHERE DID THE IDEA COME FROM?
​What Next is run by us, Luke & Becky. We're a Bournemouth based couple with an unquenchable passion for trying new things, learning as many new skills as we can and perhaps unsurprisingly, board games.
​
Luke works as an activities coordinator for young people in Bournemouth and, over the years, has been scribbling down ideas and plans for different activities, with the dream of one day being able to share them with those who are also looking for adventure and activities in Bournemouth (and take it from us, the list is LONG and full of incredible experiences we can't wait to bring to life!).
​
When Luke and Becky first met, Becky asked what it was that Luke would like to do more than anything - it was then that he shared his idea; a business that puts on a different, new experience every week but where the attendees only find out what they'll be doing once they arrive.
Becky couldn't have said "We have to do that!" any faster and so, What Next was born!

What Next was created to share new experiences and activities in Bournemouth to those who are open to trying new things and perhaps even surprising themselves a little bit. You can expect to have a brand new experience carefully planned, organised and hosted by Luke and Becky, in a safe space.

The ethos of What Next is simply to do something a little different, maybe even something you didn't even know was a 'thing'!

Kintsugi; the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery using lacquer mixed with gold or silver

All our experiences are risk assessed and are created either entirely by us or in collaboration with local businesses so no matter what activity you take part in, you're supporting a small, local enterprise. ​
